Jell is a collective of creatives approaching content (advertising, film, and design) with the concept that everyone in the process should have a voice. When coming up with the branding for Jell I considered several directions, but none felt as connected to the idea as a personal handwritten logo. I wanted someone viewing the brand to feel as if the company had handwritten a letter to them. The juxtaposition of the black and white color pallet with the concept of inclusive collaboration made the concept stand out that much more. Jell was blurring the lines, and we wanted people to see the beauty that existed in that space.
The website was created to be the introduction to the company, and a portal to connect. A single-page design was used, each section leading the user through the conceptualization of Jell. Video background was utilized to help facilitated the telling of this story and witty copy brought to life the team’s creativeness.
