Whenever creating poster artwork it is important to ask oneself if you are sacrificing form for function, and vise versa. This is true of all design, but especially so with posters. You are trying to capture people’s eyes in passing so it’s important to stand out, but you also only have a moment to convey your message so simplicity is important.
